Scheduled Maintenance

Why Scheduled Maintenance is Important

It’s important that you’re working with a mechanic who’s plugged in to the vehicle manufacturer’s bold suggestions for routine maintenance.  Don’t depend on one person’s opinion…trust the people who designed and manufactured the vehicle!  During proper maintenance, a trustworthy mechanic will notify you of any potential problems, but won’t replace parts that don’t need replacing.  The required services at any given mileage interval can be as simple as an inspection, oil & filter change, and a tire rotation, but depending on the make/model, and miles on your vehicle, could also include any of the following services:

  • Replacing spark plugs and/or plug wires
  • Replacing engine air filter & passenger cabin air filter
  • Checking fluids (brake, coolant, transmission, etc.) and topping off or replacing fluids
  • Tire rotation and tire pressure check
  • Engine oil & filter change
  • Timing belt inspection
  • Brake system safety check
