Steering and Chassis Service
Steering and chassis go hand in hand. The chassis is the bottom frame of the car, plus the “driveline” that makes it move. This driveline is made up of the engine, transmission, driveshaft, differential, and suspension. What we sit in is the “body;” it’s constructed on top of the chassis.
Power Steering and Chassis Service
If your vehicle’s ride is rough or if the steering seems loose, there might be something wrong with either the steering column or chassis. Don’t let this problem linger as the damage will only worsen over time.
Typical Car Chassis/Suspension parts we service here:
- Shocks & Struts
- Stabilizer Bar & Control Links
- Control Arms
- CV Axle Shafts
- Universal Joints
- Ball Joints
- Suspension Bushings & Mounts
How am I supposed to know what’s going on with my chassis/suspension?
Sometimes only a minor repair is needed to bring the chassis back to optimal performance. In other instances, however, more serious repairs are necessary. Our staff checks to make sure your vehicle’s “ride” components are all in tip-top shape. In fact, we do this whenever we perform our routine, comprehensive vehicle inspection. Again – trust your mechanic to identify any problems and to notify you of potential issues down the road.
Power Steering Repair
If you are having steering problems, have us check your power steering system for leaks and other faults. We can also perform a power steering fluid flush and inspect the steering drive belt to ensure correct function. If even one part of your power steering system isn’t functioning as designed, the performance of your vehicle will suffer. As a result, the condition makes handling, and even turning the steering wheel difficult.
Are you unsure about whether a problem you’re having is related to your steering system?
Be sure to bring your vehicle to us at the first sign of any steering problems. Of course, you can trust the honest technicians here at Integrity Auto to assess whatever may be occurring, and give you options for the repairs needed.
